Spratt TV: FEMA & Katrina
 

WASHINGTON - On his October TV show, U.S. Rep. John Spratt (D-SC) talks about the devastation left behind by Hurricane Katrina, FEMA’s slow response and inexperienced staff, and ideas for fixing the agency.

Spratt’s guest is Congressman Bennie Thompson, whose home state of Mississippi was hit hard by Katrina.  Thompson has seen first-hand the devastation in the Gulf and serves as the Ranking Member on the House Homeland Security Committee.
