Statement on Proposed Economic Stimulus Plan

"While there has been much speculation regarding the proposed economic stimulus package, rank-and-file Members of Congress have yet to see any legislative language regarding this issue. I look forward to seeing the details of a proposed economic stimulus plan and hope it will be debated in an open, accountable and thorough manner. I will be advocating for a package that is fiscally responsible and targets investments to our nation’s infrastructure needs and to our citizens and small businesses that have been most affected by the current economic crisis."
