Program Description:
LARD detects and characterizes recombination between DNA sequences
using maximum likelihood.

LARD is decscribed in detail in the following paper: Holmes, E.C.,
Worobey, M., and Rambaut, A., 1999 "Phylogenetic Evidence for
Recombination in Dengue Virus" Molecular Biology and Evolution

Computer platform(s):
SGI
Location:
The binary is located at /usr/local/bin/lard.

LARD's distribution is located at /usr/local/fbscapp/LARDv2.2.
Access:
Local account on SGI systems at ABCC is required to run LARD.

To use it:
  lard [parameters] < [sequences]
where [parameters] are the parameters of the program
(described in the manual) and [sequences] is the input file
containing sequences in PHILIP format.
