VCDE WS - caBIG™ Review of Proposed Body Surface Area CDE Standards

The VCDE Workspace has reviewed the proposed Body Surface Area (BSA) Common Data Element (CDE) standards submitted by the NCI Context Administrators and is now proposing the BSA CDEs for use as standards by the entire caBIG™ community. Documentation for the proposed caBIG™ CDE standards can be found at: https://gforge.nci.nih.gov/docman/view.php/109/7379/caBIG_Review_Body_Surface_Area_20070712_Version_1.zip.

The BSA CDEs can also be viewed within the caDSR browser at http://cdebrowser.nci.nih.gov/CDEBrowser/. Please navigate through the tree on the left navigation window to: caDSR Contexts >> caBIG >> Classifications >> Data Standards >> Candidate >> Body Surface Area.

The VCDE WS asks that the caBIG™ community comment on the proposed CDE standard package within 30 days of this posting (Tuesday, July 17, 2007 - Friday, August 17, 2007). Your comments will be important in the final decision on the proposed CDE standards.
