Just Announced: Requests for Proposals (RFP) for "SIG Participant - Population Sciences"

Booz Allen Hamilton, in support of the Cancer Biomedical Informatics Grid (caBIG™) Program, is requesting proposals for SIG Participant - Population Sciences SIG. The RFP, Statement of Work, and associated forms can be downloaded from http://207.36.232.130/rfp_management/. Proposals must be received no later than June 29, 2006, and must be completed in accordance with the Proposal Instructions.

The Population Sciences SIG (PS SIG) is pleased to announce its RFP for funded participation. Population Sciences are an integral component of cancer research and represent key elements in the bridge between clinical/basic research and cancer control. The PS SIG aims to advance the various disciplines of population sciences including Epidemiology, Surveillance, Behavioral Science, Prevention, Cancer Control, Biostatistics, Cohort Studies, and Health Outcomes Research by creating data standards and developing tools that operate within caBIG™ and by leveraging existing caBIG™ activities and resources to address the common needs of these disciplines. The SIG is looking for funded participants to assume leadership roles as the SIG is organized to tackle this wide array of problems.
