Straight Talk With Sam
Low Taxes Boost Economy

With our economy ailing, we must put more money back into the hands of hard working families and keep taxes on our small businesses low.  We need to make the United States, once again, the best place in the world to do business. By keeping taxes on our small businesses low, we will encourage the investment in our economy that creates jobs.
The tax rate in America is putting our small businesses at a huge disadvantage in the global economy, forcing our small businesses to compete against companies not burdened by the United States' often unfavorable tax rates.  We need to help our small businesses stay competitive.  American small businesses already produce the best products in the world, by reducing the burden of excessive taxation we can ensure that they win in the global market and create jobs here at home.

What's more, we are actually discouraging our citizens from saving and starting their own small businesses. Our tax system is stifling American ingenuity, and keeping the dream of owning a small business out of the reach of too many Americans, by essentially taxing them out of business before they have even started.
The government doesn't create jobs, the hard work of small businesses and entrepreneurs creates jobs. The best thing that government can do is to create the opportunities for economic success by keeping taxes low.
Seven in 10 jobs in America are created by small businesses.  We need to make it easier for them to do business by keeping our tax rate low. Only then will we get America's economy moving again.
