caMOD
The cancer models database (caMOD) provides information about animal models for human cancer to the public research community. caMOD provides the following key capabilities to its users:
Data Submission--Data in caMOD are extracted from the public scientific literature by curators or they are directly submitted by scientists.
Search--Users can retrieve among others information about the making of models, their genetic descriptions, histopathology, images, microarray data, and therapeutic trials in which the models were used.
System Function Administration--The Admin function provides services for user registration, review of submitted models and database management.

caIMAGE
The cancer images database (caIMAGE) stores images and associated information such as species, diagnosis, and description of the findings. caIMAGE provides the following key capabilities to its users:
Data Submission--Images in caIMAGE are directly submitted and annotated by scientists.
Search--Users can query the database using search criteria such as organ, diagnosis, species, staining method or submitting scientist.

caArray
caArray database was designed to make it easier to store, annotate, search and share microarray data related to cancer research. caArray was developed using the cancer Biomedical Informatics Grid (caBIG) compatibility guidelines, as well as the Microarray Gene Expression Data (MGED) society standards for microarray data. Compatibility with these standards and guidelines facilitates data sharing and integration of diverse data types including clinical, imaging, tissue and functional genomics data. Public datasets are available for download without registration.

Cancer Genome Anatomoy Project (CGAP)
The goal of the NCI's Cancer Genome Anatomy Project is to determine the gene expression profiles of normal, precancer, and cancer cells, leading eventually to improved detection, diagnosis, and treatment for the patient. Interconnected modules provide access to all CGAP data, bioinformatic analysis tools, and biological resources allowing the user to find "in silico" answers to biological questions in a fraction of the time it once took in the laboratory.

Mouse Genome Informatics (MGI)
The Mouse Genome Informatics (MGI) Database provides integrated access to data on the genetics, genomics and biology of the laboratory mouse. The projects contributing to this resource are:
Mouse Genome Database (MGD) Project:
MGD includes data on gene characterization, nomenclature, mapping, gene homologies among mammals, sequence links, phenotypes, allelic variants and mutants, and strain data.
Gene Expression Database (GXD) Project:
GXD integrates different types of gene expression information from the mouse and provides a searchable index of published experiments on endogenous gene expression during development
Mouse Tumor Biology (MTB) Database Project:
MTB integrates data on the frequency, incidence, genetics, and pathology of neoplastic disorders, emphasizing data on tumors that develop characteristically in different genetically defined strains of mice.
Gene Ontology (GO) Project:
The Mouse Genome Informatics group is a founding member of the Gene Ontology Consortium (www.geneontology.org ). MGI fully incorporates the GO in the database and provides a GO browser
