Program Description:
3DNA is a comprehensive software package for the analysis and rebuilding of
nucleic acid structures. It contains schemes for calculating local base-pair,
step, and helical parameters, and exact rebuilding of a structure based on these
parameters. The rebuilding routines offer Calladine-Drew style schematic visual
models of DNA as well as full atomic models with sugar-phosphate backbone.
Computer platform(s):
SGI Irix
Linux
Location:
/usr/local/fbscapp/X3DNA
Access:
Account on ABCC's systems is required to use X3DNA.

NCI scientists with SGI or Linux workstations can also use it
by mounting ABCC's SGI or Linux applications NFS filesystem.

To run X3DNA:
 setenv X3DNA /usr/local/fbscapp/X3DNA
 set path = ($path $X3DNA/bin)
 (followed by name(s) of 3DNA program(s))
