WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Bill Delahunt’s Foreign Affairs Subcommittee will hold a joint public briefing with the Middle East Subcommittee on the international efforts to address the situation of Iraqi Refugees. The joint panel will hear from United Nations Deputy High Commissioner for Refugees Craig Johnstone as well as the International Organization of Migration’s Chief of Mission for Iraq Rafiq Tshcannen who will provide an update on the estimated 5 million Iraqis that have been displaced since the beginning of the war.
