I have been a technical writer for over 10 years. I started in Marketing and HR communications (because I could type, was single and could therefore work very long hours). I ended up in software by happy accident and have loved my job ever since.

I have worked on database front ends (I was a DBA for a short while), written manuals for data management and content management software for a startup (OTG, eventually bought by EMC), and most recently documented web portals for the US Coast Guard.

I love what I do and I'm awfully good at it. I love learning new things and the NCI appears to have no end of new things I can get my claws into. Happy to be here.
