Health Effects

contains ammonium bifluoride and ammonium fluoride. Harmful or fatal if swallowed. May cause burns which may not be immediately painful or visible. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Use in a well-ventilated area and avoid breathing spray mist. In case of eye contact, flush with water for 15 minutes. In case of skin contact, wash with soap and water. If swallowed, drink large volumes of water, milk or antacids. Get immediate medical attention. |

Inhalation: Causes severe irritation. Can cause eye and nose irritation, sore throat, coughing, and wheezing. Severe or prolonged inhalation exposure may result in tracheobronchitis or chemical pneumonia, which may be delayed in the onset. Skin Contact: Fluoride component may cause severe chemical burns, the severity of which may not be immediately apparent. Systematic absorption from the skin of large amount of product after a large surface area burn could potentially result in serious illness or death. Eye Contact: Moderately irritating on Draize test. May cause burns. Ingestion: May cause severe burns to the gastrointestinal tract. Absorption of fluoride may cause death.

Repeated exposure to excessive concentrations of fluorides over years may lead to embrittlement and decalcification of bones due to fluoride deposition, frequently associated with spinal stiffness.

Wash thoroughly after handling. Keep container closed. Keep away from food and food products. Store in a cool, dry location away from incompatible materials (strong acids or alkalis).
