The Cancer Molecular Analysis Portal (CMA), a component of the National Cancer Institute’s caBIG™ initiative, is designed to enable researchers to integrate, visualize, and explore clinical and genomic characterization data from translational research studies, such as The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) Pilot Project.

The first data set available is the Pilot Project’s Glioblastoma Multiforma data. The analytical tools available will allow researchers to access clinical characteristics such as survival data and tumor staging and correlate with mutation and genome characterization results.
