Established allogeneic chronic myeloid leukemia cells K562   Established from pleural effusion of 53 year female with chronic myelogenous leukaemia in terminal blast crisis. Population highly undifferentiated and of the granulocytic series. Can be used as a highly sensitive target for the in vitro natural killer assay. Recent studies have shown the K562 blasts are multipotential, hematopoietic malignant cells that spontaneously cells produce hemoglobin; cells carry the Philadelphia chromosome with a b3-a2 fusion gene. differentiate into recognisable progenitors of the erythrocyte, granulocyte and monocytic series.   View
Established allogeneic colorectal carcinoma cells   Colorectal carcinoma cells taken from an individual that demonstrate the potential for indefinite subculture in vitro for implantation into another individual.   View
Established allogeneic colorectal carcinoma cells Colo 205   A cell line isolated from ascitic fluid of a 70 year old Caucasian male with carcinoma of the colon. Produces carcinoembryonic antigen.   View
Established allogeneic colorectal carcinoma cells SW403   A cell line derived from a 51 yo white female with Dukes' type C, grade III colorectal adenocarcinoma.   View
Established allogeneic colorectal carcinoma cells SW620   SW620 was isolated from the tissue of a 51-year-old Caucasian male (blood group A, Rh+) as was SW480 (ATCC CCL-228). A recurrence of the malignancy resulted in a wide-spread metastasis from the colon to an abdominal mass. SW620 was initiated by A. Leibovitz, et al., from a lymph node in the same manner as was the primary adenocarcinoma from which SW480 was derived the previous year. The established cell line consists mainly of individual small spherical and bipolar cells lacking microvilli. The cells synthesize only small quantities of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), and are highly tumorigeni   View
Established allogeneic Epstein-Barr virus immortalized B-lymphoblastoid cell line   B-lymphoblastoid cell lines (BLCL) are derived from donor PBMC's. The BLCL are infected with a strain of EBV (B95-8). These cells are grown in vitro for implantation into an individual of the same species.   View
Established allogeneic fibroblasts   Fibroblasts, connective tissue cells which secrete an extracellular matrix rich in collagen and other macromolecules, from an individual that demonstrate the potential for indefinite subculture in vitro that are re-implanted into another individual from the same species.   View
Established allogeneic fibroblasts KMST-2   A human fibroblast cell line that demonstrates the potential for indefinite subculture in vitro.   View
Established allogeneic fibroblasts KMST-6   Normal human fibroblasts obtained from a whole embryo were malignantly transformed with only 60Co gamma rays, but after extensive passage. The fibroblasts were exposed intermittently to 60Co gamma rays, 13 times, 2,800 rads in total, from the primary culture to the 40th passage level. At the 50th passage level the cells became morphologically changed, showing chromosomal abnormalities, and serial passages showed them to be immortalized   View
Established allogeneic fibroblasts KMST-6.14   A clone of the immortalized human fibroblast line KMST-6.   View
