A Message From Larry Ray

Thank you all so much for your commitment to the NIH Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). It is great to have so much talent and energy back in the CFC campaign. NIH has been participating in this campaign for 40 years, and we have risen as a star.

Last year NIH raised $2.2 Million for the CFC, which was 46% of the DHHS Campaign.

NIH is the largest single contributor of charitable donations in Montgomery County (larger than all of the United Way campaigns combined).

This is powerful, and it says a lot about the culture here at the NIH. And you are part of this. The NIH family cares about its local, national and international communities. Our support is needed now more than ever and I am asking all of us to call upon our fellow coworkers to continue this tradition of being a star.

Be an NIH Star, Caring for Your Community.
This theme reminds us that at the end of the day, the CFC is about impacting others and making a difference. We are part of the most significant workplace giving campaign in the world. Now more than ever, our participation and our contributions are needed. Your hard work and commitment motivating the rest of NIH has been key to the success of the CFC here at NIH.

Throughout the campaign, please let me or anyone on the CFC Steering Committee know if you have questions, and we’ll do our best to help you with whatever you need. When NIH gives, good things happen.

Thank you.
