Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Development Center, a new start-up organization
that manages more than $100 million in technology projects within the small business
community to accelerate the progress of cancer research.
Our office addresses cross-cutting issues related to technology development by small
businesses. We manage awards that aim to catalyze the development and commercialization
of advanced technology platforms for cancer detection, diagnosis, treatment, and
prevention, and research tools for cancer basic discovery. NCI offers career enhancing
