Tic-Tac-Toe

Sometimes in scientific research, when scientists go in one direction, they find that way is blocked or that it just was not the right direction (or approach) to take. When that happens, the scientist chooses another path, and this continues in the hopes that eventually the directions chosen will lead to a discovery that will improve the quality of life or save lives. The main thing to remember is that you must keep trying different approaches when looking for the solution to a problem!

The same is true with the Tic Tac Toe game below. If one approach leads to a dead end, then try another. In the game below, wherever you point and click, an "X" will appear. An "O" will also automatically appear in the computer's efforts to block you. Like a scientist, you will need to be persistent in order to win. After playing the game, why not learn more about becoming an environmental scientist yourself someday!

X equals your move = Your move; O equals computer's move = Computer's move
