Health Effects

Cabot Paint & Varnish Remover should be used outdoors when possible. If used indoors, provide for adequate ventilation by opening all doors and windows. Turn off stoves, heaters, electrical motors, pilot lights and other ignition sources during use and until all vapors are gone. DO NOT use in a basement or unventilated area.
Dispose of empty containers or unused portions in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. Do not store at temperatures above 120 deg F (49 deg C). Do not expose container to excessive heat. Contact with flame or hot surface may produce toxic gases. Do not puncture, place in trash compactor or burn the container.
If you work indoors, use only in well-ventilated area at room temperature. Protect eyes with goggles and wear solvent-resistant gloves. Protect the skin from overspray
Do not apply when air or surface temperature is below 40 deg F. Use with adequate ventilation. Wear eye and skin protection. Use outdoors when possible.

May be irritating to eyes, skin, nose, throat; chronic dryness and dermatitis to skin. Acute and chronic inhalation may cause headaches, dizziness, nausea, fatigue. Ingestion may cause irritation and vomiting.
Signs and Symptoms of Exposure:
Irritation to eyes, skin, respiratory tract. Headaches, dizziness, nausea, fatigue.
Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated by Exposure: Persons with breathing difficulties, skin sensitivities, eye sensitivities.
