Every NCI activity presents unique opportunities and challenges. Several resources have been identified to answer questions and provide guidance when you participate in a NCI activity.
  • NCI Activity Contact

    The NCI Activity Contact is the lead NCI staff person identified for your specific activity. This person is

    • Involved in planning and managing the NCI activity
    • Knowledgeable about technical procedures for that activity
    • Available to assist you with information related to your role

  • NCI Office of Liaison Activities (OLA)

    The NCI Office of Liaison Activities (OLA) is responsible for managing the CARRA program, and facilitating the involvement of CARRA members in NCI activities.

    The CARRA Program Manager is the Office of Liaison Activities point of contact for CARRA members. She can assist you with any aspect of your involvement with the CARRA program.

  • Mentors

    You may be assigned a mentor to assist you while you participate in a NCI activity. Your mentor is someone who has prior experience with the type activity in which you are participating. Your mentor has volunteered to help you by answering questions, clarifying expectations, and offering support. If you would like a mentor to assist you, please contact the CARRA Program Coordinator.

  • CARRA Training

    Formal and informal training is available to help prepare you to participate in science and communications activities. This section provides information about online tutorials, orientation materials, and the CARRA Peer Review Training Workshop.
