This section lists the general guidelines that CARRA members must follow when participating in NCI activities.

When participating in NCI activities, it is the CARRA members' responsibility to understand and adhere to NCI's policies regarding conflict of interest, confidentiality, and lobbying during NCI activities.

NCI activities may or may not involve travel. Before CARRA members make any travel arrangements, they should first speak with their NCI Activity Contact. He/she provides detailed instructions on the location of the activity, and how to make travel arrangements if needed.

Every NCI activity presents unique challenges. Several resources for CARRA member assistance have been identified to answer questions, provide guidance, and help CARRA members meet the challenges of each activity.
