(2) Focus on immediate, practical action to achieve demonstrable results beginning in the first year. (3) Address environmental and behavioral factors as critical to the prevention and control of chronic diseases. (4) Provide both financial resources and medical expertise from Ovations in support of the fight against chronic diseases. (5) Demonstrate the power and impact of public-private partnerships. Funds available to build capacity to counter chronic disease in low- and middle-income countries. Ovations, a US health and wellbeing company, has made $15m available in cash and kind to create centres to build capacity to counter chronic disease in the developing world.
