Experimental Biology

Experimental biology has been a very generic term for a long time, referring to any scientific process using experiments to decipher the complexity of plant, animal, or cell biology. In the context of this program, this term federates scientists generating relevant data to be effectively utilized in building mathematical models. The groups involved in this program are working in areas related to DNA repair, cancer initiation and progression, oncogenic signaling pathways, cancer invasion, kinase activation signatures and complex epigenetic interactions in neoplasms. In vitro and in vivo experiments will also serve in validating mathematical models once developed in silico.
