Mark Your Calendars: Financial Aid Nights

Purdue North Central will be holding Financial Aid nights
at the schools listed below.

This is a free service provided by the financial aid office. Sessions are open to students and parents who are interesting in learning on how to apply for aid for the upcoming school year, regardless of which college or university they will be attending.

Tuesday, Jan. 13: 7 p.m., Valparaiso High School
Thursday, Jan. 15: 7 p.m., Chesterton High School
Wednesday, Jan. 21: 6:30 p.m., Westville High School
Wednesday, Jan. 28: 6:30 p.m., Portage High School
Thursday, Jan. 29: 6 p.m., Marquette High School
Tuesday, Feb. 3: 6:30 p.m., Laporte High School
Tuesday, Feb. 10: 6:30 p.m., North Judson High School

The Purdue North Central Financial Aid Staff wants to be sure that no student is denied higher education simply because they cannot afford to attend.

Over one half (63%) of PNC students take advantage of some $15 million in Financial Aid awarded annually. Financial Aid is made available through grants and scholarships, as well as loan and work-study programs.

The first step in the Financial Aid process is to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Each January the new FAFSA forms are available for the following academic year. To be considered for state grants your FAFSA should be completed by March 1 to ensure it is received by the annual March 10 deadline as established by the State Student Assistance Commission for Indiana (SSACI).
