Year Adjustments:
BRP and P41 grants funded for 5 years if requested. Other R01 awards limited to 4 years.

Notes:
+ For new investigators the percentile will be 5% higher or 24%.

# P41, BRP and P01 applications will be considered on a case by case basis. NIBIB anticipates funding five to seven competing BRP or P01 grants and five to seven competing P41 grants in FY08.

## F awards are highly competitive and no fixed payline exists. A limited number of awards are available for highly meritorious applications.

* Funding plans for T32 awards in FY08 will be based on available funds and programmatic considerations.

** New K awards will be highly competitive.

*** Payline will be adjusted to meet the set aside. Current estimate is a payline between 170 and 180.

Non-competing (type 5) Modular awards that requested the modular cap ($250K) in the competing year Apply a 0.47% reduction from committed 2008 level. Future years adjusted accordingly.
Bioengineering Research Partnership non-competing (type 5) awards Apply a 0.47% reduction from committed 2008 level. Future years adjusted accordingly.
All other RPG non-competing awards (type 5) Apply a 2% reduction from committed 2008 level. Future years adjusted accordingly.
SBIR and STTR No adjustment
Non-competing P41, P50, P20, U41, U54, R24, R25 Apply a 2% reduction from committed 2008 level. Future years adjusted accordingly.
K, Pioneer, and Innovator awards No adjustment
NRSA awards Held at FY2007 levels.
