The Women’s Urology Health Studies supports research both in basic science and clinical studies including large clinical trials. The areas of interest include but are not limited to studies in the fields of urinary incontinence, urinary tract infection, painful bladder syndrome and interstitial cystitis, sexual dysfunction, pelvic floor disorders and other related issues. There is an active outreach component of women’s urology health studies to raise awareness among health care providers, patients, and the public of the advances in the treatment and prevention of women’s urologic conditions in order to improve the quality of life for women with these conditions.
