Current Position:
Director, Diabetes Epidemiology Program

Current Portfolio/Responsibilities:

Project Officer, Diabetes Control and Complications Trial/Epidemiology of Diabetes Interventions and Complications study (DCCT/EDIC).
Chairperson of the NIDDK Epidemiology Committee, which meets monthly  and coordinates epidemiologic activities in NIDDK.

Manage diabetes epidemiology interests, such as developing national survey components and analyzing resultant data.

Chief editor for the development of the book Diabetes in America.

Editor of the book Diabetes Public Health:  From Data to Policy

Director, National Diabetes Data Group, which is devoted to the collection, standardization, and dissemination of data on diabetes.
