Clinical Trial Agreements (CTA) CTAs are used to transfer an investigational agent for use in an NCI-sponsored clinical trial when no transfer of funds between the collaborator and NCI are involved.

Confidentiality Disclosure Agreements (CDA)
CDAs allow NCI scientists and outside parties to freely exchange confidential information. There are three different versions of the CDA:

Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADA) CRADAs allow for the exchange of materials, personnel, and equipment between NCI scientists and non-governmental entities and may confer intellectual property rights.

Simple Letter of Agreement (SLA) SLAs allow research materials to be exchanged between NCI scientists and outside parties when intellectual property is not involved.
