Is there anyway to apply a mask to a dataset before volume registration, like a flag in the 3dvolreg command line?
I know that it would be possible to do through a series of 3dcalc commands and just volume register that results, I was just wondering if tehre was a faster way?

The goal is to eliminate the functional data that seems to be realted to motion, this is only noticable in the first slice or two of the data, which was collected from a partial brain scan.
