Dear Afni Users,

We have been using afni binaries on our sgi o2s for years now...I installed
the March updates on all our machines and then went on to install matlab6
and spm on two of the machines...one machine (Merlin) has two other toys
on it: freesurfer and ImageJ. Merlin also has a c-compiler (and has for
some time). Now Merlin refuses to start afni. I tried putting on a fresh
copy of the March binary and it fails in the same way. I just downloaded
the newest May version and got the same error message:

I have, unfortunately, not retried afni every time I installed a new toy...so
I don't know exactly when this conflict arose.

Have any of you ever seen anything like this? Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks,
