In conjunction with the fourth International AIDS Society Conference on HIV Pathogenesis, Treatment and Prevention held in Sydney, Australia, NIMH co-sponsored a meeting to highlight the current research relating to neurological and neuropsychological complications of HIV infection in the Asia Pacific region. The meeting also assessed the impact of HIV associated opportunistic and co-infections on the nervous system.
