Desktop Application, Web Application - Remote application with data uploads/downloads through web interface |
System Requirements:
The architecture of QPACA, and its companion Magellan, consists of three different layers. The user interface is accessed via a web browser. The Application Logic layer handles requests from the browser and delivers them to the Database and Tools layer (tier 3). The Tools portion of this layer handles the actual Pathway Analysis and visualization, which are passed back to the Application logic layer, which delivers the results back to the browser/client (tier 1). The Database portion of this layer stores the microarray data, annotations, and results from analyses. |
