Human Chromosome 7 Genomic Sequencing

The sequencing of human chromosome 7 represents an ongoing collaboration between groups at NHGRI, Washington University, and the University of Washington. Specifically, the mapping data described throughout this Web site are being used to generate high-resolution maps and associated clones, which in turn are being used for sequencing the chromosome.
