| Description: | eGrants is a web-based document management application that represents a major step towards working grants electronically and is currently in use by nine ICs. eGrants transforms traditional grants paper processes into electronic databases accessible through the intranet. eGrants enables grants management, program, and support staff to retrieve documents from their computers instead of file cabinets or paper-based grant file folders. eGrants integrates documents from paper and electronic sources and also allows for the direct entry of user selected electronic documents including email so there is no need to print and scan the selected documents.
