Abstracts due May 27th

The National Institutes of Health SBIR/STTR Program is pleased to announce that a Poster Session will be part of the 7th Annual NIH SBIR/STTR Conference. The purpose of the poster session is to create an opportunity for SBIR/STTR Phase II awardees to present their research and technology to their peers, to foster discussions that may lead to collaborations, and to identify potential research partners. This is not an exhibit or tradeshow, but is instead an opportunity to share information.

1. General Information:

The poster session is held in conjunction with the 7th Annual NIH SBIR/STTR Conference. During the two-day session ninety-six presenters (48 each day) will display their non-proprietary scientific findings of their Phase II research. Specific event information is as follows:

    Dates & Times:
    • July 28; 1:30 – 4:30
    • July 29; 8:00 – 12:00

    Location: The Natcher Conference Center, Atrium Level. Set-up time, date, and space assignment will be provided later to those selected to present.

    Submission Deadline: May 27, 2005

    Notification of Poster Acceptance: June 15, 2005

3. Abstract Preparation Instructions:

Organize the body of the abstract as follows:

  • State objectives of the study (preferably one sentence)
  • Discuss the methods used.
  • Summarize the results in sufficient detail to support the conclusion.
  • Provide the conclusions.
  • Limit to 250-500 words.

4. Additional Information:

  • Only ONE abstract per presenting author will be accepted.
  • Accepted abstracts will be reproduced and included in the Abstract Poster Book and distributed during the conference.
