Washington, DC— Congresswoman Diane E. Watson (D-33) was part of an organized tour of Koreatown on May 27, 2008. The tour was led by local Korean-American business and community leaders.

Rep. Watson issued the following statement at the Koreatown Galleria:

“I am pleased to know that Koreatown continues to be an integral part of the economic landscape of the 33rd Congressional District," stated Rep. Watson. "I am proud to represent this industrious and vibrant community."

Rep. Watson greeted local business owners and discussed issues affecting the Korean community. While on the tour, Koreatown community leaders showcased new expansion projects which includes the Koreatown Pavilion Garden.
