Washington, DC— Congresswoman Diane E. Watson (D-CA) sponsored the 6th Annual Holiday Celebration and Toy Drive Saturday, December 15, 2007. The event took place at the Representative’s 33rd district office in Los Angeles. 

The purpose of this celebration was to collect and distribute toys to children who might otherwise not receive a gift. This event was also an opportunity for community members and organizations to unite together to improve the lives of children.

Toys were distributed to Agape Homeless Shelter, Tom Bradley Youth Center, and Mt. Olive Second Baptist Church in Watts. The entertainment was provided by Yvette Cooke; Photographer Chris Randolph; Catering provided by Simply Good Catering.
