Profiles in Cancer Research is a new feature that will appear periodically in the NCI Cancer Bulletin. As the name suggests, the feature will cover ongoing cancer research that is funded by NCI or is being conducted at NCI; more important, it will introduce to you the individual scientists and clinicians behind this research. Today, NCI funds or employs roughly 6,500 researchers across the country and throughout the world. It is our hope that this new feature will help highlight the circumstances and motivation behind their tireless work.
