National Institutes of Health (NIH)

This notice is an addendum to RFA-RM-04-011, "Dynamic Assessment of Patient-
Reported Chronic Disease Outcomes," which was released in the NIH Guide for
Grants and Contracts on November 18, 2003. This gives notice that an
informational pre-application meeting has been scheduled, at which staff will
make presentations that explain their goals and objectives for the Patient-
Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System (PROMIS) Network described in
RFA-RM-04-011 (at http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/rfa-files/RFA-RM-04-011.html)
and answer questions from the attendees. All interested prospective
applicants are invited. Applicants may submit written questions prior
to the meeting by contacting staff members listed in the original RFA.

The meeting will be held on January 26th from 10 AM to 1 PM at the Neuroscience
Center [NSC], first floor Conference room D at 6001 Executive Blvd., Rockville
MD, 20852. For interested applicants unable to attend in person, the meeting
will be webcast with telephone interaction; the videocast will be available for
subsequent viewing online as well. Information on NIH videocasting of the
meeting will be available on http://videocast.nih.gov/default.asp under
“Scheduling of Upcoming Events at the National Institutes of Health” at least
one week before the meeting.

All applicants are strongly encouraged to discuss their applications with one of
the program directors listed below as early in the process as possible.

To facilitate technical planning, we require registration for participation in
the pre-application meeting. Participants may register with Kawanna Jackson-
Taylor JacksonKA@od.nih.gov by providing the name, telephone number, e-mail
address, institutional affiliation, and whether you plan to attend in person or
