Patient Study Calendar Work Group
The Patient Study Calendar Working Group is currently on hold. The Patient Study Calendar Work Group is defining requirements for developing a clinical study calendar application module that will enable three aspects of a study calendar: template creation, forecasting, and outcomes. The study calendar application will accommodate epidemiological (& population), observational, and interventional studies. The Patient Study Calendar Work Group has defined the requirements for the Patient Study Calendar R1.0 application. Currently the Work Group is examining the requirements for an expanded comprehensive clinical trials study calendar and the necessary interfaces to other modules to be part of the integrated clinical trial management system. The Patient Study Calendar Work Group is part of the Study Conduct Special Interest Group (SIG) within the Clinical Trials Management Systems (CTMS) Workspace.
Who should get involved?The Patient Study Calendar Work Group encourages anyone who is interested and/or involved in the conduct, administration, and regulation of clinical trials. These include, clinical trialists, clinical investigators, research nurses, informaticists, clinical trial sponsors, IRB and FDA representatives. These and others are key stakeholders whose input, review and feedback is imperative to the successful development and deployment of applications to support clinical trials and enable improved exchange of clinical trial information. Individuals interested in participating are invited to join the Study Calendar Listserv. The Listserv serves as the primary means of communication for the Work Group. Meeting announcements are posted to the Listserv prior to the meeting.
