NHLBI
Shared Microarray Facilities (RFA HL-02-007)
This research program is
to facilitate the application of microarray
technology to fundamental, hypothesis-driven
research in the area of cardiovascular,
pulmonary, hematological, and sleep disorders.
Eleven highly interactive, multi-disciplinary
facilities were established to meet this
goal. These facilities provide study design
guidance, microarray service, analytical
tools and guidance in the interpretation
of expression profiling results, and applicable
knowledge/skills development and education
to NHLBI supported researchers.

Administrative Supplements for Microarray Applications and
Analyses (NOT HL-02-003)
This was a one-time supplement announcement
to support the application of microarray technology to ongoing
NHLBI research programs. The goal was to provide the opportunity
for NHLBI grantees to incorporate the use of microarray technology
into their experimental plan when the proposed supplemental
research falls within the original scope of the parent grant.
