Warnings: Danger: Extremely flammable- Vapor Harmful. Keep away from sparks, heat and flame. Use Strypeeze outdoors, if possible. If you must use it indoors, OPEN ALL WINDOWS AND DOORS outside, use only with moving fresh air cross ventilation over the work area and across floor. Vapors flow along floors, under doors and may ignite explosively. Do not use or store Strypeeze in basement or other unventilated areas. DO NOT SMOKE. BEFORE USE SHUT OFF ELECTRICITY to all outlets, switches fans, motors, tools, stoves, heaters and appliances. TURN OFF ALL flames, pilot lights and electric igniters on stoves, ovens, water heaters, furnaces, etc. DO NOT restore power or light flames until all vapors (odors) are gone. Vapor contacting flame or hot surface may produce toxic poisonous gas and destroy metals. Use only with adequate ventilation. Cannot be made non-poisonous. Contains: Acetone, Toluene, Methanol and Methylene Chloride which has been shown to cause cancer in certain laboratory animals. Risk to your health depends on the level of duration of exposure. Reports have associated repeated or prolonged occupational over exposure to solvents with permanent brain and nervous system damage. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling contents may be harmful or fatal. (see Material Safety Data Sheet). Avoid contact with skin and eyes and avoid breathing vapors. If odor is strong or you notice dizziness, headaches or eye watering - STOP- leave area immediately. Warning: This product contains chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. First Aid: If swallowed, induce vomiting and call a physician immediately. For eye contact, flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. For skin contact, wash thoroughly with soap and water. Keep out of reach of children. Close container after each use. Never store in unlabeled container. (metal can container)
Acute Health Effects: From MSDS
Inhalation: Inhalation of vapors can cause nasal and respiratory irritation, dizziness, weakness, fatigue, headache, nausea, unconsciousness and asphyxiation.

Eye Contact: Can cause severe irritation, redness, tearing, blurred vision. May cause transient injury to cornea.

Skin Contact: Short contact-may cause slight reddening or no irritation. Prolonged or frequently repeated contact can cause irritation, defatting, dermatitis and may result in absorption of harmful amounts. Some ingredients in this product may be absorbed through intact skin and produce toxic effects similar to swallowing.

Ingestion: Aspiration of material into the lungs can cause chemical pneumonitis which can be fatal. Ingestion can cause blindness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, gastrointestinal irritation and death.

Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated by Exposure: Persons thought to have heart or respiratory problems should seed medical advice before using solvents of any kind. If signs of allergy develop (breathing difficulty, eye itching, prolonged itching or redness of skin, headaches, dizziness, etc.) discontinue use of product immediately and consult a physician.
Chronic Health Effects: From MSDS
Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling this product may be harmful or fatal. Reports have associated repeated and prolonged occupational overexposure to solvents with permanent brain, nervous system, liver, and kidney damage.

Excessive exposure to methylene chloride may cause carboxyhemoglobinemia and impair blood's ability to transport oxygen.
Carcinogenicity: From MSDS
Methylene chloride is listed as a potential carcinogen by IARC. Methylene chloride has been shown to increase the rate of spontaneously occurring malignant tumors in one strain of laboratory mouse and benign tumors in laboratory rats. Other animal studies and human epidemiology studies have not shown a tumorigenic response which could be related to methylene chloride.

Handling/Disposal
Handling: From MSDS
Store in cool place, out of hot sun and below 90F. All containers are subject to damage in storage and transit. Damaged containers may start leaking immediately or at a later time. Do not store flammable materials in areas with widely fluctuating temperatures and do not store where vapors may come in contact with flames sparks, or heat. Flammable materials should not be stored in below ground areas that cannot be adequately ventilated at floor level. Do not use cutting or welding torches near full or empty containers.

Closed containers may explode if exposed to extreme heat. Never use internal gas or air pressure to remove contents from a container. Emptied containers may retain product residues, therefore, all precautions given in this sheet must be observed until a container is thoroughly cleaned or destroyed. All containers must be completely drained before disposal. If possible, emptied container of 55 gallons or more should be given to reconditioner for cleaning.
Disposal: From MSDS
Removers CANNOT be neutralized for disposal into a sewer. Solvents must not be dumped on the ground or be allowed to contaminate ground water, streams, drinking water sources or other bodies of water. Solids collected from stripping should be screened out. Recovered remover, if not contaminated with other solvents or water, may be recycled in the system. Dispose of contaminated remover as spent solvent to a licensed reclaimer. Burn wiping materials with sludge in approved incinerator or bury in an approved landfill; comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.
