Chronic Health Effects: From MSDS
Results of tests in workers exposed to high concentrations have shown that Toluene, a component of this product, can cause irreversible changes in the genetic material (DNA) of a cell. The human health consequence of these changes is not fully understood. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling toluene has been shown to cause liver, kidney and brain damage. Toluene also causes harm to the fetus in laboratory animal studies. The relevance of these findings to humans is uncertain. Reports have associated repeated and prolonged occupational overexposure to solvents with permanent brain and nervous system damage (sometimes referred to as Solvent or Painter's Syndrome). Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling the contents may be harmful or fatal.

This product contains the following chemicals subject to the reporting requirements of the State of California's Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (Prop 65): Toluene, Benzene.
