NCI-Frederick Recycling Program:

Material Type: Fluorescent Bulbs
 

Instructions: Large amounts of fluorescent bulbs are picked up by the labor crew and dropped off at Building 1071. Small amounts can be picked up by Waste Management x5718 or email chemwaste@ncifcrf.gov
  UV bulbs, small mercury lamps, or duterium lamps from microscopes and other lab equipment should be picked up by waste management x5718 or email chemwaste@ncifcrf.gov The tubes (considered Universal Waste) will be sent to a recycler that will remove and recycle the mercury (Hazardous Waste).
