NCI-Frederick Recycling Program:

Material Type: Printer Cartridges

Instructions: The spent ink and toner cartridges are picked up by waste management x5718 or email chemwaste@ncifcrf.gov. Did you know a printer cartridge can be recycled up to three times! The energy saved is equivalent to a gallon of oil!
Make sure the cartridges are designated for recycling by writing "FOR RECYCLING" on them. Cartridges are sent to a recycler to make NEW cartridges and a cash credit is donated to a local charity organization.
Remember even small inkjet cartridges from your desk pinter can also be recycled!
