Notice:
This entrance is open only on weekdays.
Pass Suburban
Hospital on your left. Take the 3rd entrance to NIH on your right,
which is Center Drive. Proceed to the security check point. After
passing through security turn right onto Convent Drive. Turn left
into the first parking garage (There will be a RED sign that states
Blood Donor Parking). Park in the row designated
for blood donors. Enter through the sliding glass doors of the Blood Bank entrance. Donor registration will be directly in front of
you.
From
Rockville, South on Old Georgetown Road
Notice:
This entrance is open only on weekdays.
About 1 mile south of the Beltway, you will pass a fire station
on your left (Cedar Lane). Turn left at the first light past Cedar
Lane, which is Center Drive. Proceed to the security check point.
After passing through security turn right onto Convent Drive. Turn left
into the first parking garage (There will be a RED sign that states Blood Donor Parking). Park in the row designated for blood donors. Enter through the sliding glass doors of the Blood Bank entrance. Donor registration will be directly in front of you.

Take the Old Georgetown Road exit south towards Bethesda. About

Entering
From Rockville Pike/Wisconsin Avenue (Route 355)
Notice:
This entrance is open 7 days a week.
Enter the campus at South Drive (This is where the Metro Station
is located). Proceed to the security check point. After passing
through security continue to proceed on South Drive to the first
intersection. Turn right (This is Center Drive). Proceed through
4 stop signs. At this point you will be on Convent Drive. Turn left
into the first parking garage (There will be a RED sign that states Blood Donor Parking). Park in the row designated for blood donors. Enter through the sliding glass doors of the Blood Bank entrance. Donor registration will be directly in front of you.
Arriving
by Metro
The Blood Bank may be reached via the Washington, D.C. Metro
railway system (Click
here for Metro information). Once you arrive at the Red Line
Medical Center stop board the NIH Campus Shuttle. (Note: The Campus
shuttle does not operate on the weekends) Ask the shuttle driver
which stop is the Blood Bank stop and depart at that stop. Cross
Convent Drive and proceed to the right approximately 100 feet until
you see a RED sign that states Blood Donor Parking. Park in the row designated for blood donors. Enter through the sliding glass doors of the Blood Bank entrance. Donor registration will be directly in front of you.
