Health Effects

Contains petroleum distillates. Vapor Harmful. May affect brain or nervous system causing dizziness, headaches or nausea. Causes eye, skin, nose and throat irritation. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling contents may be harmful or fatal. Use only with adequate ventilation. To avoid breathing vapor or spray mist, open windows and doors or use other means to ensure fresh air entry during application and drying. If you experience eye watering, headaches or dizziness, increase fresh air or wear respiratory protection (NIOHS/MSHA-approved) or leave the area. Close container after each use. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Keep away from heat and flame. Do not smoke. First Aid: if swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately. If you experience difficulty in breathing, leave the area to obtain fresh air. If continued difficulty is experienced, get medical assistance immediately. In case of eye contact, flush immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention. For skin, wash thoroughly with soap and water. Keep out of reach of children. Effects of Overexposure: Vapors may cause narcosis and irritation of respiratory system. Liquid is irritating to eyes and liquid material may be harmful or fatal if swallowed. Inhalation: Prolonged or repeated contact can cause nasal and respiratory irritation, dizziness, weakness, fatigue, nausea, headache, possible unconsciousness, and even asphyxiation. Eye Contact: Can cause severe irritation, redness, tearing, and blurred vision. Skin Contact: None listed Ingestion: Can cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Aspiration of material into the lungs can cause chemical pneumonitis which can be fatal.
