Committee Management Office
The mission of the Committee Management Office is summarized below:
- Coordinate all NIDDK and Service Center clients committee management activities and serve as liaison official between the NIDDK Committee Management Service Center and the Office of Federal Advisory Committee Policy
- Prepare nomination and appointment documentation for membership to committees
- Furnish staff guidance, assistance, and leadership to NIDDK and Service Center client officials in the various facets of advisory committee activities
- Establish necessary controls and procedures within NIDDK /Service Center clients to ensure compliance with FACA, applicable regulations, NIH and Department policy
- Maintain charter and membership records, as well as other required reports
- Coordinate or prepare several annual reports
- Perform as Scientific Review and Evaluation Officer for the NIDDK/Service Center clients
