Workforce Retention and Development Branch
The Workforce Retention and Development Branch (WRDB) advises NIAID senior leadership on ways to measure the success of the organizational structure that supports the Institute’s short- and long-range goals.
By assisting senior managers in the areas of learning, development, and change management, WRDB enhances overall organizational capability and talent development. WRDB leads, oversees, and guides learning and development initiatives by identifying and addressing NIAID’s development needs and by providing targeted programs and services to enhance the assimilation, retention, and productivity of the NIAID workforce.
WRDB also directs the development and use of state-of-the-art business processes, techniques, methods, and controls including business process reengineering and the development and deployment of standard operating procedures.
