Workforce Management Resources Branch
The Workforce Management Resources Branch (WMRB) assists senior managers in assessing systemic organizational and programmatic human capital (staffing) requirements.
WMRB conveys these needs and brokers solutions and their implementation among the NIH Office of Human Resources (OHR) and other appropriate offices and staff. WMRB also provides advice regarding the application of management authorities such as Title 42 pay and appointments and other special pay authorities.
WMRB's responsibilities include:
- Partnering with OHR leadership to drive the acquisition and selection of talent, by, among other things, conducting needs assessments and developing strategic workforce and diversity outreach programs and talent and competency models
- Providing management advisory services in support of initiatives to retain talent, by developing and implementing annual workforce plans, competitive sourcing initiatives, and equal employment opportunity and workforce diversity initiatives, among other activities
