What services does this resource provide?
The Malaria Research and Reference Reagent Resource Center (MR4) provides
Quality controlled malaria-related
research materials
for use as reference standards or to generate new renewable reagents. Custom items may also be prepared on a one-time basis.
MR4 also invites investigators to
deposit
(non-Government link)research materials.
Workshops and training activities for malaria researchers
Where are services provided?
The American Type Culture Collection (ATCC) maintains the
Malaria Research and Reference Reagent Resource Center (MR4)
(non-Government link). The ATCC subcontracts to the Centers for Disease Control Foundation to provide mosquito reagents. Other reagents may also be provided by subcontracts.
