Testbed SIG

This SIG is now inactive, and will not be holding teleconferences after 2007.

The goals of the Testbed SIG are to:

  • Create mark up/annotation of images for humans reviewing co-op group studies, comparison of human/computer detection, and metadata/object model representation, (caDSR, EVS, caGRID).
  • Facilitate interoperability of MIRC, IHE, DICOM, caGRID, and HL7.
  • Evaluate CAD & Employ/Image Quantification (IQ) for Co-Op Groups support, (QARC), and radiation dose quantification.

The Testbed SIG is part of the In Vivo Imaging Workspace.

Who should get involved?

The Testbed SIG is intended for imagers who are involved in clinical trials, any type of cancer research involving imaging, as well as imagers who treat patients directly in any clinical setting. This includes government, industry, academia, and direct care providers. This SIG is also relevant for administrative staff from any of the previously mentioned settings who are involved in decision making with regard to medical imaging equipment

Individuals interested in participating are invited to join the Testbed SIG Listserv. The Listserv serves as the primary means of communication for the SIG. Meeting announcements are posted to the Listserv prior to the meeting.
